HOW TO DRAW WIDGETS To draw a widget (picture box, text box or hotspot box), click on the "NEW" button of your choice at the top of the screen. The new widget will then appear in the top-left corner of the work grid.
HOW TO DELETE A WIDGET Select (identify) the widget by clicking on it, and then hit the "Delete" key on your keyboard.
HOW TO RESIZE A WIDGET Immediately after creating a new widget, it will be re-sizable. Moving the mousepointer near the bottom right-hand corner will cause its icon to change into a "corner arrow" indicating the directions in which the re-sizing is available (east and/or south). Click down and drag the side(s) until the widget is of the required dimensions, and then release the mouse button.
HOW TO MOVE A WIDGET Right-click on it to put it into drag mode. Drag the widget to its new position (left mouse button). Releasing the mouse button will turn off drag mode automatically.
HOW TO SHIFT A WHOLE BLOCK OF WIDGETS Click on the "Shift mode" option at the top of the screen. Do exactly the same as above ("HOW TO MOVE A WIDGET") to achieve a widget move. When you release the left mouse button and drag mode is terminated, ALL WIDGETS ON THE SAME OR LOWER LEVEL as the one you moved will be shifted into corresponding positions.
HOW TO EDIT THE WIDGET CONTENTS Double-click on them.
HOW TO CLONE WIDGETS Click on the widget you wish to clone in order to identify it. Use Ctrl+C keys to copy it to the clipboard. CLICK AGAIN ON THE SCREEN in the position where you want the top left-hand corner of the cloned widget to be located. Use Ctrl+V keys to paste a new widget. Click (to locate) and paste (Ctrl+V) as many times as you wish to produce new clones.
HOW TO NUDGE WIDGETS Select (identify) the widget to nudge by clicking on it. Then use the nudger on the top toolbar to move either the whole widget or the sides of the widget 1 pixel at a time. Just click on the arrow which represents the kind of movement you wish to make. (Note that usage of the nudger will turn off the "Snap-to-grid" option automatically.)
HOW TO HIDE/SHOW WIDGETS Click on the coloured toggle buttons (with checkboxes) at the bottom of the screen.
